The island is featuring a lot of natural beauty and clean waters. Each year thousands of tourists and travelers are passing by, so everyone must do his/her own bit to keep the island clean and a true gem.

Practical Tips:

Always use the bins provided to dispose of any garbage
Don't leave your smoking litter on the beach or on the street - Always throw them in the bin
Always use the recycle bins for disposing valuable material
Respect the environment as much as it respects you

Summer 2009 Traditional Events in Mykonos

Some of the best festivals, where the local saints adopted as patrons of the island are honoured, happen throughout the summer. The following are the traditional events featuring plenty of local food, wine and some traditional Greek dancing are always nice to visit.

There are plenty of people hanging out and the various tastes (mezedes) are delicious.
